The Acting Course Coordinator, Flying Officer Erica Lynnette Nkwantabisa, said the training was designed to support the vision of the Chief of the Air Staff to build an effective and efficient Ghana Air Force committed to excellence. She explained that the course would cover a range of areas including operational duties, regimentation, drills, orientation, practical instruction and trade-specific training, among others.

In his remarks, the Commanding Officer of the Administration Wing and Guest of Honour, Wing Commander Amatus Dery, emphasised the importance of discipline, integrity and professionalism in military service. He urged the trainees to uphold the core values of the Ghana Air Force and demonstrate commitment and dedication in the discharge of their duties.

Wing Commander Dery further reminded the trainees of their identity as members of the Ghana Armed Forces, urging them to reflect the values of the Service through their attitudes, appearance and interactions with others. He stressed that military bearing and professionalism should be evident in their daily conduct, both in and out of uniform.

The six-month continuous training programme is expected to equip the newly posted Aircraftmen and Aircraftwomen with the requisite knowledge, skills and professional values to effectively undertake their assigned responsibilities in the Ghana Air Force.
