The Course 1/2004 batch of the Air Force Recruit Training School (AFRTS) has donated essential medical and household items to support the school’s operations and welfare services on Thursday, 22 October 2026.

The donation comprised an intensive care unit (ICU) bed, a blood pressure machine, a thermometer gun, four packs of gloves, two bundles each of cotton and gauze, and three packs of large tissues. It also included four sets of bedsheets, four pieces of curtains, two curtain bars, two pillows and one bucket.

Receiving the items, the Commanding Officer, AFRTS, Wing Commander Benoni Nii Ayi Okine, expressed his appreciation to the group and assured them the items would be effectively ultilised. He encouraged other batches to emulate the same gesture for their alma mater.

The gesture demonstrates the former recruits’ continued commitment to their alma mater's welfare and development. The donated items are expected to support the school’s medical unit and improve the comfort and general well-being of personnel and recruits.
