Air Commodore Mathias Awuah officially handed over command of the Air Force Training Command (AFTRAC) to Air Commodore Richard Danso on Wednesday, 14 May 2025, at the Command Headquarters, co-located with Air Force Base Tamale.

Now the Chief Staff Officer at the Air Force Headquarters, Air Commodore Awuah expressed his gratitude to the staff officers and personnel of the Command for their unwavering dedication and support during his tenure.

In his address, the incoming Commander, Air Commodore Richard Danso, expressed his eagerness to work closely with the personnel and contribute to the Command’s continued success. He acknowledged the notable accomplishments of his predecessor and pledged to advance the progress made.

The symbolic handing-over ceremony was attended by staff officers and personnel of the Command.
