AIR FORCE BASE ACCRA OPERATIONS ROOM RECEIVES UPGRADE TO BOOST EFFICIENCY

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe has inspected and handed over the newly refurbished Air Force Base Accra Operations Room (Ops room) to the Base on Tuesday, 19 November 2024. 

 

 

The renovated facility is equipped with modern equipment to enhance the capacity of the Ops room for communications and surveillance responsibilities. With the installation of advanced screens and state-of-the-art consoles, the revamped facility will enable seamless communication with other Air Force Bases and improve aircraft tracking capabilities.

 

 

During the event the CAS noted that the upgrade is in line with the quest for infrastructural development across all Air Force Bases to enable airmen execute their mandate of safeguarding the country’s air space efficiently and effectively.

 

 

AVM Bekoe urged personnel to embrace new technology, expand their operational knowledge and maintain the equipment to ensure their longevity and effectiveness.
