
AIR FORCE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY HOLDS CLOSING CEREMONY FOR FLIGHT COMMANDERS CSE 1/25
The Air Force Leadership Academy has successfully held a closing ceremony for Flight Commander's Course 1/25 on Thursday 24 April 2025, at the Academy's conference room in Tamale. This rigorous six-week programme forged 22 officers, drawn from Army units and Air Force Bases, equipping them with critical competencies demanded of proficient staff officers.

The Directing Staff, Wing Commander Victor Asiedu Abourdeen, in his debrief, commended the participants for their exemplary conduct throughout the course, citing their disciplined approach to academics, unwavering adherence to timelines, cohesive teamwork, and overall professional bearing. He affirmed that the curriculum, strategically designed to encompass service writing proficiency, simulated oratory command, impactful leadership presentations, collaborative syndicate exercises, and focused tutorials has provided participants with the requisite intellectual foundation for their forthcoming Junior Staff Course and subsequent staff duties.


The Guest of Honour, Commander, Air Force Training Command, Air Commodore Matthias Awuah, in his address underscored the significant contributions of the Ghana Air Force High Command, the former Base Commander, Air Force Base Tamale, the General Officer Commanding, Northern Command, and the dedicated Directing Staff in ensuring the resounding success of this crucial training endeavour. Air Commodore Awuah extended his congratulations to the graduating officers, expressing unwavering confidence in their preparedness to excel in their next phase of professional development and their future staff appointments within their respective units.





Present at this significant occasion was the acting Flying Group Commander, Wing Commander DKK Akoto, Commanding Officers of the various wings, Air Force Base Tamale, staff officers and airmen of the Air Force Training Command.
