AIR FORCE POLICE BASIC COURSE COMMENCES

The maiden Air Force Police Basic Course  has commenced at the Air Force Recruit Training School (AFRTS) at Takoradi on Monday, 23 October 2023.

 

 

In his remarks, the Guest of Honour, Commander, Air Force Training Command,  Air Commodore Mathias Awuah said the course was organised in line with the vision  of the Chief of the Air Staff to make the Air Force SMART effective and efficient.

 

 

He stated that the Air Force Police was tasked to maintain law and order in the day to day administration of the Air Force. Additionally, a lot of planning, efforts and brainstorming had gone into the course and urged all the Participants to seize the opportunity to broaden their horizons and learn from their instructors, both internally and externally.

 

 

He also noted that, the Air Force Police could encounter different situations in the discharge of their duties and it would be necessary to approach the situation  with respect and compassion with recourse to their training and work.

 

 

Commodore Awuah thanked the Chief of the Air Staff for his vision, initiative and support for the Ghana Air Force.

In his welcoming address, the Commanding Officer, Air Force Recruit Training School, Wing Commander NS Naab commended the Guest of Honour and the Chief of the Air Staff for investing their time and resources in the course. He urged the participants to devote much attention to the course and be determined to give off their best throughout the course.

 

 

Present at the opening ceremony were the Officers Commanding the various  Wings, the Master Air Warrant Officer (MAWO), Master Warrant Officer  Bawa and other Base personnel.
