The Ghana Air Force (GHF) basketball, handball and volleyball teams have received new sports kits at the Air Force headquarters on Tuesday 4 June 2024.

During a presentation ceremony, the Acting Director Training, Wing Commander Tetteh in his remarks highlighted the achievements of the teams. He mentioned that the Basketball team had received an award  for being winners of the maiden edition of the Mini Inter-Service Basketball Tournament. Additionally, the team placed third during the Accra Basketball League Competition.

Presenting the items on behalf of the Chief of the Air Staff, the Chief Staff Officer, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi, congratulated the various team on their outstanding performance, praising their dedication and teamwork. He encouraged them to continue to work hard and excel in their endeavours.

The sports kits presented included, brand new jerseys, balls for basketball, handball and volleyball among other  accessories.
