AIR MARSHAL NZVEDE PAYS COURTESY CALL ON CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF

The Commander of the Air Force of Zimbabwe, Air Marshal John Jacob Nzvede, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, at the Air Force Headquarters on Wednesday, 8 July 2026.

 

 

During the meeting, Air Vice Marshal Agyen-Frempong warmly welcomed the Zimbabwean delegation and commended the enduring friendship and cooperation between Ghana and Zimbabwe. The two Air Force Chiefs held fruitful discussions on regional security challenges, capacity building, and opportunities to deepen operational collaboration between their respective Air Forces.

 

 

The discussions also focused on enhancing cooperation in professional military training, information sharing, aircraft maintenance and logistics support, as well as broader regional security initiatives. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral defence relations through practical partnerships that would enhance the operational capabilities of both Air Forces.

 

 

The meeting concluded with an exchange of commemorative gifts and expressions of goodwill, symbolising the shared commitment of Ghana and Zimbabwe to maintaining strong and enduring defence ties.
