AIR WIVES ORGANISATION OPENS CHRISTMAS STREET BAZAAR EXHIBITION
Air Wives Organisation (AWO) has opened its second edition of the Christmas Street Bazaar at the Air Force Market Square in Burma Camp on Wednesday 14 December, 2022.
The 5-day exhibition which is expected to end on Sunday, 18 December 2022 forms part of the end of year activities which sought to bring goods and services to promote businesses of AWO members and its sister associations; the Army and Navy wives.
 
 
The guest of honour, who is the wife of the Base Commander, Air Force Base Accra, Mrs Fanny Agyin Frimpong in her speech commended the Military High Command for their continuous support to AWO. She hinted that her motivation to promote the welfare of women begun during the Command Skills Training and she felt obliged to be part of such a noble cause.
 
 
Mrs Agyin Frimpong congratulated AWO patrons and its executives for coming up with such an initiative to support and promote businesses of its members and military wives in general. She encouraged Officers, Men, Women, Defence Civilian Staff and the general public to patronize the bazaar to make it successful.
The President of the Organisation, Mrs Rebecca Darko in her address appreciated the efforts of the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama for his support to the development, growth and well-being of women. She further thanked the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Frank Hanson, Base Commander Air Force Base Accra, Air Commodore Agyin Frimpong and Base Commander Tamale, Air Commodore Mensah Larkai for their immerse support to the Organisation.
