CAPO HOLDS MEETING WITH AFHQ DEFENCE CIVILIAN STAFF

The Civilian Administrative Personnel Officer (CAPO) of the Air Force Headquarters, Mr Mathias Anthony Ato Morgan, held a meeting with the Defence Civilian Staff of the Headquarters on Tuesday 16 April 2024 at the AFHQ Conference Hall. The gathering centered on enhancing the general welfare of the civilian staff together with professing solutions to matters arising.

In his address, Mr Morgan advised the Staff to cultivate good work ethics such as adhering to the prescribed dress regulations and eschewing acts that will impede upon their professionalism.  He also emphasised on the importance of punctuality to work, adhering to timings and laid down rules, and seeking the requisite authorisation before being absent from work.

On the issue of welfare, Mr Morgan informed them that, an insurance policy intervention had been initiated by Command to cater for the health needs of civilian staff and their families, comprising a spouse and a minimum number of 3 children.

He therefore encouraged the Defence Civilian Staff to regularly update their records and publish occurrences such as childbirths and marriages with the Department of Civilian Establishment in order to enjoy such benefits.
