
CHIEF OF AIR STAFF PAYS MAIDEN VISIT TO TACTICAL AIR COMMAND BUI
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, paid his first visit to the Tactical Air Command Bui from Monday 21 to Tuesday 22 July 2025.
The visit began with a courtesy call on the senior management of the Bui Power Authority at the Power Operations Department, where the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Samuel Nimako and other directors briefed him on the operations of the Authority. This was followed by a guided tour of key installations including the power generating station among others.
The Chief of the Air Staff was then taken to the permanent site of the Command, where he was oriented on the progress of work by the Commander, Tactical Air Command Bui, Air Commodore Kwabena Kissiedu Manukure Atiemo.
On Tuesday, the Chief of the Air Staff held an all ranks durbar at the Command. He commended personnel for their discipline and encouraged them to maintain high standards at all times.
He also addressed matters concerning welfare and ongoing projects among others.
The durbar transitioned into the induction service of the newly appointed Commander of the Command. The ceremony, officiated by Squadron Leader Asiedu Perdison, was held under the theme "Brave Understanding of Inspiration."
In his remarks, the Commander expressed his gratitude for the trust reposed in him by the military high command and pledged to work diligently towards the vision of the Ghana Air Force.
The Chief of the Air Staff commended the Commander for his dedication and assured him of his continuous support. He also urged all personnel to rally behind their new leader to advance the mission of the Command.
