The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC) has held a closing ceremony for personnel who took part in the ‘CASA-295M Type Rating Course’ on Friday 10 May 2024 at the Air Force Base, Accra. 

The 5-weeks course was organised to train and equip personnel of the Engineering Branch with the necessary skills and knowledge to service and maintain the Ghana Air Force CASA fleet of aircraft.

Speaking at the event, the Guest of Honour, Director Engineering, Group Captain Richard Danso congratulated the students for their hard work and teamwork during their studies. He added that the course held immerse benefit to the Ghana Air Force.

He therefore urged the graduands to exhibit the knowledge acquired in the discharge of their duties when they return to their various units. In addition, he advised them to maintain the highest standards of discipline and time-consciousness which had been their hallmark during the course. 

Group Captain Danso also commended the chief instructors, instructors, and resource persons for the impactful sessions and guidance they offered the students during the period.
