DIMO TEAM LAUDS GAF AMET INSTRUCTORS' PERFORMANCE

The Defense Institute for Medical Operations (DIMO) team from the USA have expressed their utmost satisfaction with the performance of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Aeromedical Evacuation Training (AMET) participants at the closing ceremony of the third phase of the programme held on Friday 3 May 2024. 

 

 

 

Comprising 23 students and 10 instructors, the DIMO team commended them for their unparalleled enthusiasm and dedication. They noted that the instructors' exceptional skills at lecturing and hands-on practical sessions with the new students affirmed their readiness to facilitate similar training programmes and apply their expertise in aeromedical procedures.

 

 

 

In his remarks, the Director of Training at the General Headquarters Medical, Colonel George Boamah, extended his gratitude to the DIMO team for their support and supervisory role in ensuring the capability of GAF AMET instructors. He emphasised the importance of the knowledge they had acquired and urged both instructors and participants to return to their respective units and make a positive impact.

 

 

 

As a gesture of goodwill and support, the DIMO team presented medical kits and accoutrements essential for future training programmes. This collaborative effort signifies a strong partnership aimed at enhancing medical capabilities and readiness within the Ghana Armed Forces.
