The Engineering Wing of the Air Force Base, Tamale (AFB TAM) has witnessed a handing and taking over ceremony on Tuesday 02 October 2024.

The brief ceremony saw the outgoing Commanding Officer (CO) of the Wing, Wing Commander Afua Afrifa handing over command to the incoming CO, Squadron Leader BA Ocquaye.

In his remarks, the Base Commander, Air Force Base,Tamale,  Air Commodore Joshua Lartei Mensah-Larkai commended the outgoing CO for her exceptional and dedicated service. He urged her to continue the good works as she continues to serve the Ghana Air Force in other capacities.

 Air Commodore Mensah-Larkai encouraged the incoming CO to exhibit the required high standards and qualities to ensure that the Engineering Wing remains efficient to help the Base and the Air Force in general to realize the long-term vision of the Chief of the Air Staff.

The highlight of the ceremony was the exchange of the symbol of authority between the out-going CO and the incoming CO.
