ESTABLISHMENT OF TACAB

Today we present to you a brief on the establishment of the Tactical Air Command Bui (TACAB).

The Ghana Air Force on 29 January 2022 established the Tactical Air Command Base located at Bui in the middle belt of Ghana.

The establishment of the Command was necessitated by current threats both external and internal prevailing in the Sub-Region coupled with ongoing re-organisation and expansion of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) which  demanded the creation of a new Command to adequately and efficiently combat these threats as well as to deter would-be adversaries.

Since its inception, TACAB has undertaken some activities in close collaboration with the Ghana Army, Ghana Navy, Bui Power Authority (BPA), Minerals Commission, Boundary Commission, Forestry Commission and other strategic partners operating in and around Bono and other surrounding regions.

We bring you some highlights of some key activities undertaken by the Command and its strategic partners.
