FLIGHT COMMANDER’S COURSE 1/2026 CONCLUDES AT GHAFAC
The Ghana Air Force has successfully concluded Flight Commander’s Course 1/2026 at the Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHAFAC) on Thursday, 2 April 2026, marking an important step in the development of future leaders within the Service.

The six-week course, which commenced on 20 February 2026, brought together twenty-five (25) officers from the Ghana Air Force, with participation from an officer of the Ghana Army. The programme was designed to equip participants with the leadership, command, and decision-making skills required to effectively function as Flight Commanders across various units.

Addressing the ceremony, the Guest of Honour, Group Captain Krampah Kwabena Antwi, underscored the core values of integrity, courage, and selflessness as essential traits of effective military leadership. He urged the graduates to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the course as they assume greater responsibilities within their respective units.

He further commended the participants for their dedication and resilience throughout the training, and also lauded the instructors for their commitment and professionalism in imparting knowledge and mentoring the students.

The ceremony culminated in the presentation of certificates to the graduating officers in recognition of their successful completion of the course. Special awards were also presented to outstanding participants who excelled in various aspects of the training, highlighting excellence and professionalism.


The successful completion of the course reflects the Ghana Air Force’s continued commitment to building a highly skilled, disciplined, and mission-ready leadership cadre.
