GHAF PERSONNEL PARTICIPATE IN GCAA 40TH ANNIVERSARY HEALTH WALK AND GAMES
Personnel of the Ghana Air Force joined the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in a health walk and fun games as part of activities marking the Authority’s 40th Anniversary celebrations on Saturday, 9 May 2026.

The event, held at the Aviation Social Centre at the Airport, brought together personnel from both organisations in a display of unity, teamwork, and shared commitment towards promoting health and wellness within Ghana’s aviation sector.

Activities commenced with a health walk through designated routes around the airport enclave, reflecting the participants’ commitment to physical fitness and healthy living. This was followed by a series of entertaining and competitive games aimed at fostering teamwork, camaraderie and sportsmanship among personnel.
Participants enthusiastically engaged in the various activities, with the event climaxing in the presentation of awards and recognitions to outstanding performers in the games. The occasion celebrated not only sporting excellence but also participation, cooperation and esprit de corps among the participants.


Beyond the celebrations, the event reinforced the longstanding relationship between the Ghana Air Force and the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, highlighting their shared commitment towards safety, professionalism and service within Ghana’s aviation industry.

Present at the event were the Acting Chief of the Air Staff, Air Commodore Nana Adu-Gyamfi and the Director General of GCAA, Reverend Stephen Wilfred Arthur, among other senior officials and personnel from both institutions.
