The Ghana Air Force male and female basketball teams are participating in the Accra Basketball League Competition. On Thursday 4 July 2024, the women’s team showcased their strength and skills by defeating the Legon women’s team in a thrilling performance at the Ghana Prisons Service Headquarters basketball court. 

During the match, fans were treated to an action-packed game filled with fast breaks, impressive defensive play and clutch shots from both teams. However, it was the Air Force women who ultimately emerged victorious.

 The 43-23 scores, propelled the Air Force women to the 5th position on the league table, solidifying their position as a formidable force in the league.

The Air Force men's team are expected to play against the Ghana Prisons Service today, Friday 5 July 2024 at the Prisons Service Headquarters basketball court. The competitive match will mark the end of round 1 of the Accra Basketball League.

The second phase of the League is scheduled to start on Wednesday 17 July 2024.
