GHANA AIR FORCE HONOURS 1995 YEAR GROUP FOR 30 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE

The Ghana Air Force has honoured its 1995 Year Group with a farewell ceremony held at the Warrant Officers’ and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers’ Mess in Accra on Wednesday 14 May 2025.

 

 

The event marked the conclusion of a remarkable 30-year journey of selfless, devoted and meritorious service by the intake, who have served with distinction both locally and internationally.

 

 

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Eric Agyen-Frempong, lauded the retirees for their unwavering dedication, discipline and hard work over the past three decades. He emphasized that their individual and collective efforts had contributed significantly to the success and reputation of the Ghana Air Force.

 

 

AVM Agyen-Frempong noted that the intake’s legacy of professionalism and excellence would continue to inspire younger generations within the service.  He mentioned that, as they return to their families, this was a time to cherish memories, reflect on their accomplishments and live as worthy ambassadors of the Ghana Air Force.

 

 

The occasion also featured numerous goodwill messages from senior officers who worked alongside the 1995 Year Group, commending their exceptional performance and camaraderie over the years.

 

 

To climax the event, each retiree was presented with a Certificate of Honour and a commemorative plaque in recognition of their distinguished service.
