GHANA AIR FORCE OFFICERS EXCEL AT 82ND GAFCSC JUNIOR STAFF COURSE GRADUATION

The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) held its 82nd Junior Staff Division Course graduation ceremony honouring 76 officers drawn from nations across the African continent on Friday 20 December 2024 at the Halidu Auditorium, GAFCSC, Teshie.

 

 

Among the distinguished graduants were two Officers from the Ghana Air Force, Squadron Leader Cynthia Doreen Awusi-Nti and Squadron Leader Emmanuel Okan who were recognised for their exceptional performance during the course. They received special awards for their outstanding accomplishments.

 

 

 

The Commandant, Major General Mathew Essien in his speech emphasised the importance of continuous professional military education in promoting regional stability and security. He commended the dedication and hard work of the graduants who have enhanced their skills and knowledge to better serve their respective countries.

 

 

During the ceremony, Major General Essien presented a citation and a plaque to the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe, in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of the college. The Commandant acknowledged the vital role the military leadership plays in providing a conducive environment for learning and personal growth within the Armed Forces.

 

 

 

The Guest of Honour, Major General Nii Coleman (rtd), praised the graduants for their hard work and dedication in completing the rigorous course. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and encouraged the officers to continue to strive for excellence in their future endeavours.

 

 

The event concluded with a call to action for all graduants to apply the knowledge they have gained to advance their careers and to contribute to peace and security across the region.
