GHANA AIR FORCE TAKES OVER GUARD DUTIES AT THE JUBILEE HOUSE

The Ghana Air Force successfully took over guard duties from the Ghana Navy at a colorful guard-changing ceremony at the Jubilee House on Monday 24 July 2024. A cherished military tradition, this impeccably performed drill accompanied by a regimental band was the 40th Guard changing ceremony since its inception.

 

 

 

 

Personnel of the Ghana Air Force for the next quarter will be in charge of maintaining security at the seat of the presidency.

 

 

 

The ceremony was witnessed by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Minister for Defence, Hon Dominic Nitiwul, Chief of the Defence Staff, Lt Gen Thomas Oppong-Peprah, the Inspector General of Police, Service Chiefs among a host of other guests and dignitaries.
