GHF AC AND KNUST COMPLETE AIRCRAFT PRACTICAL TRAINING COURSE

The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC) in collaboration with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has successfully completed a four-week Aircraft Practical Course for seventy four (74) Aerospace Engineering students on Thursday, 7 November 2024 at Air Force Base, Accra.

 

 

The course was aimed at equipping students with vital skills and practical training experience in aircraft operations, maintenance and safety protocols. Students engaged in simulated activities and participated in workshops led by experienced resource persons and instructors from the college.

 

 

During the closing ceremony, the Director Training at the Air Force Headquarters, Group Captain Kwabena Krampah Antwi who was the Guest of Honour applauded the long-standing relationship between the Ghana Air Force and KNUST. He commended the students for their commitment and perseverance during the training.

 

 

He emphasised the critical role the course plays in the performance of the technical crew of the Ghana Air Force. He therefore encouraged the graduates to apply the knowledge and skills gained from the course to enhance their careers within the aviation industry.

 

 

The students received certificates for successfully completing the course and they expressed their gratitude to KNUST and the Ghana Air Force for providing them with the invaluable opportunity to acquire knowledge.
