GHF PARTAKES IN INDUSTRY-ACADEMIA EXHIBITION AT UG

The Ghana Air Force (GHF) has taken part in a two-day exhibition organised by the Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IAST) at the University of Ghana (UG), Legon from 16 to 17 May 2024.

Dubbed the 7th Industry-Academia Interaction Series, it was held under the theme, “Sustainable Energy Transitions and Climate Change: The Role of Partnerships”.

The exhibition seeks to enhance the knowledge and expose students and participants to various industries and businesses. It was to also foster collaboration and provide a platform for organisations and institutions to showcase their products and services.

In line with that, the Ghana Air Force Aviation College mounted an exhibition stand showcasing innovative gadgets including the virtual reality and flight simulator. This drew crowds to the Air Force stand as several students lined up to have a 3D experience of flying.

Filled with excitement and enthusiasm, the students, participants and organisers expressed their appreciation to the GHF for taking part in the exhibition.  These exhibitions go a long way to improve the civil-military cooperation between the GHF and its stakeholders.
