The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC) has held a graduation ceremony for 89 airmen who have successfully completed a three-year technical course on Friday 20 December 2024.

The graduates of GHFAC Course 15B Technical specialised in various trades, including Aero-Mechanical, Avionics, Ground Mechanical Engineering, Safety and Surface Engineering, Armament and Photo Reconnaissance Engineering.  Over six semesters, the Airmen underwent comprehensive theoretical and practical sessions, progressing through Basic, Intermediate and Advanced stages of technical training.

As part of the programme, the students also participated in two On-The-Job Training (OJT) tours across the various Air Force Bases to gain hands-on experience and also prepare them for the operational demands of the Ghana Air Force.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Special Guest of Honour and Commander Air Force Logistics Command, Air Commodore Richard Danso, congratulated the graduates on their achievements and urged them to apply their acquired skills to benefit the Ghana Air Force and the nation.

“You have been equipped with the knowledge and expertise required to excel in your fields. I encourage you to be innovative, disciplined and committed as you embark on your professional journey. These attributes will not only enhance your contributions to the Air Force but also make you ambassadors of this prestigious college,” he said.

Air Commodore Danso also highlighted the importance of networking, teamwork and maintaining the esprit de corps developed during their training.

During the event, deserving students were recognised for their exceptional performances. Leading Aircraftman (LAC) Nyarko Adowa Eva was adjudged the Overall Best Student and Valedictorian for her outstanding achievements.
