HANDSHAKE BETWEEN LEGACY AND LEADERSHIP: RCOA MEETS THE CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF

On Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, the Ghana Air Force Headquarters received the executives of the Retired Commissioned Officers Association (RCOA) as they paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong.

 

 

Led by their President, Brigadier General Samuel Yanyi-Akofur (Rtd), the RCOA delegation extended heartfelt congratulations to the CAS on his recent appointment. Beyond formalities, the visit served as a platform for shared purpose and an opportunity to introduce the Association, while reaffirming its commitment to the welfare of retired officers and continued support for the Air Force community.

 

 

Brigadier General Yanyi-Akofur (Rtd) emphasized RCOA’s readiness to collaborate with the Ghana Air Force and enhance its support for the men and women who once served the nation with dedication.

 

 

In response, Air Vice Marshal Agyen-Frempong warmly welcomed the delegation, acknowledging the invaluable role of retired officers in shaping the values and traditions of the Service. He expressed sincere appreciation for their continued contributions and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Association.

 

 

The meeting reflected a spirit of respect, continuity, and shared commitment to service and country.
