NEW FRENCH DEFENCE ATTACHÉ STRENGTHENS TIES WITH GHANA AIR FORCE

The new French Defence Attaché to Ghana, Colonel Grégoire Madelin, paid a courtesy visit on the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe on Monday 16 September 2024.

 

Accompanied by his Staff Officers, Colonel Madelin’s visit was to introduce himself and engage in bilateral talks to solidify the existing mutual relations between the two countries.

 

 

During the meeting, the discussions primarily focused on the training of personnel which is an initiative that has yielded significant benefits for both the Ghana Air Force and the French counterparts over the years.

 

 

Both parties also talked about ways to enhance the longstanding cooperation between the Ghana Air Force and the France with emphasis on developing new areas of collaboration.

 

 

AVM Bekoe warmly welcomed Colonel Madelin and his team, expressing his readiness to assist them in future engagements. He assured them that his office remains open for any assistance that would help strengthen the relationship between the two nations.
