Nigerian Defence Attaché (DA) to Ghana, Colonel (Col) Emmanuel Sholotan, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Frederick Kwasi Asare Bekoe at the Air Force Headquarters on Tuesday 17 September 2024.

The purpose of the visit was to enable Col Sholotan introduce himself to the CAS as the new Defence Attaché to Ghana and also to strengthen diplomatic ties between the two countries. He used the opportunity to congratulate AVM Bekoe.

Col Sholotan expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended to him by the CAS. He assured him of continuous and long existing collaboration and partnership with the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).

AVM Bekoe, welcomed the DA to the HQ and congratulated him on his new appointment. He also recounted the relationship between the two countries stating that both countries would work together to strengthen the bond between them.
