Graduating Officer Cadets of Regular Career Course 62 and Short Service Commission and Special Duties Course 60 (RCC 62 and SS/SD 60) on Monday 30 October 2023 paid a visit to the Air Force Base Accra. 

The visit forms part of their familiarization tour of the various installations of the Ghana Armed Forces to gain first-hand information on how the Service Headquarters and Units operates in executing their mandate of defending the territorial integrity of the country.

On arrival, the Cadets were welcomed on behalf of the Base Commander by the Officer Commanding Morale, Welfare and Recreation Squadron, Squadron Leader Ebenezer Biney. They were then given a thorough brief on the Organisation, Role and Operations of the Air Force Base Accra by Squadron Leader Farouk Anafo.

This was followed by a tour of the four main wings of the Base namely; Flying, Engineering, Supply and Administration.

The visit was climaxed with a static display and introduction to the various platforms such as the Z-9 EH, CASA C295 and the MI 171 SH aircraft.
