ORIENTATION FOR NEWLY EMPLOYED DCS HELD AT AFHQ

An orientation programme for newly employed Defence Civilian Staff (DCS) was held at the Air Force Headquarters on Wednesday 10 July 2024.

 

 

The purpose of the orientation was to familiarise the staff with the various branches and functions of the Ghana Air Force to enable them gain a first-hand information on how they operate.  

 

 

During the orientation, lectures were given by resource personnel on the operational and administrative activities of the four main branches of the Air Force namely Flying, Engineering, Supply and Administration.

 

 

In a welcome address, the Personnel Staff Officer Grade I, Squadron Leader Cyril Zikpi, welcomed the new DCS to the AFHQ and advised them to abide by all military regulations and respect their superiors at all times. He further cautioned that all military documents are to be kept confidential. 

 

 

Personnel were also advised to maintain a high standard of discipline and also abide by the code of ethics of the Ghana Armed Forces.
