The Turkish Defence Attaché to Ghana, Colonel Ahmet Pakis, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, at the Air Force Headquarters on Monday, 19 May 2025.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen military cooperation and diplomatic relations between Turkey and Ghana.

Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong welcomed Colonel Pakis to his office and commended the Republic of Turkey for maintaining strong ties between the two nations.

He also priorities in modernizing the Air Force and expressed optimism about future collaborations.

Colonel Pakis reaffirmed Turkey’s interest in extending support and cooperation with the Ghana Air Force.
