AIR FORCE BASE TAMALE HOLDS ANNUAL END OF YEAR DURBAR

In commemoration of the close of the 2025 year, the Air Force Base Tamale held its annual End-of-Year Durbar on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, at the Administration Wing Gardens. The event served as an important forum for Officers, Airmen, and Defence Civilian Staff to interact with the Base Commander while reflecting on the achievements and milestones of the past year.

In his address, the Base Commander, Air Commodore Nana Adu-Gyamfi, paid solemn tribute to personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty during 2025. Looking ahead, he urged all personnel to act as stewards of a professional work environment. He emphasised the importance of unity and encouraged the rank and file to foster a spirit of camaraderie and shared purpose. He further stressed that a high level of discipline is expected from all personnel in the new year.

Air Commodore Adu-Gyamfi also took the opportunity to congratulate the newly promoted Senior Warrant Officers and Defence Civilian Staff of the Base, and encouraged younger personnel to aspire to similar heights in their careers.

Present at the gathering were Commanding Officers of the various Wings, as well as Officers, Airmen, and Defence Civilian Staff of the Base.
