AIR FORCE COURSE 1/2005 COMMEMORATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY
Air Force Course 1/2005 commemorated two decades of dedicated service to the Ghana Armed Forces on Saturday, 25 October 2025, with a series of activities that included a charitable donation to the Lighthouse Christian Home (St. Elizabeth Home) at Aburi.

The group donated a variety of essential items, including clothing, playing materials, cleaning tools, fruits, biscuits, and assorted drinks, to support the upkeep of the Home.

Presenting the items, Chairman of the Anniversary Committee, Warrant Officer Class One (WOI) Kyei-Mensah Maxwell, explained that the gesture was an expression of gratitude to God for His grace and protection throughout their 20 years of service.

“As a group, we are deeply grateful to God for His protection throughout the years, and we are especially thankful that all our intake mates are alive and doing well. To commemorate this milestone, we chose to give back to society as a way of expressing our appreciation,” he stated.

He added that the donation reflected the group’s enduring commitment to compassion, unity, and community service.

Receiving the items, the Home Mistress, Madam Angela Naa Dedei Collins, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the group for their kindness and assured them that the donation would go a long way to enhance the welfare of the children.

The anniversary celebration continued at Bendu Village Resort, where members of the course engaged in fun games, camaraderie, and reflections on their years of service, a fitting conclusion to a memorable 20th anniversary celebration.
