AIR FORCE SPECIAL TASK UNIT COMPLETES 6-WEEKS RIGOROUS TRAINING
In a remarkable display of skill and determination, the second batch of trainees from the Ghana Air Force Special Task Unit has completed their grueling 6-week training programme at the 69 Airborne Force in Tamale on Friday 22 September 2023.
The six-weeks programme was characterized by physically demanding exercises, intense theoretical sessions and practical drills, all aimed at refining participants skills in various aspects of airborne operations.
From parachute jumps to tactical planning exercises, the participants were thoroughly tested and pushed to excel in every aspect of their training. The programme was climaxed with a rigorous final exercise conducted at the old Airport facility in Tamale.
In his speech at the closing ceremony, the Commanding Officer of the Airborne Force, Lt Col Louis Yaw Boakye commended the trainees for their dedication and encouraged them to continue pushing their boundaries in order to further enhance their capabilities.
Trainees were presented with well-deserved certificates of completion and customized T-shirts, symbolizing their successful completion of the programme.
This training programme holds immense significance, as it does not only strengthen the capabilities of the Ghana Air Force, but also contributes to the broader national security infrastructure.
