AIR FORCE TRAINING COMMAND EMPHASIZES LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AT WARRANT OFFICERS AND SENIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS’ COURSE

The Air Force Training Command has reaffirmed its commitment to leadership development at the opening ceremony of the Warrant Officers (WOs) and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) Leadership Course 1/25. The ceremony took place on Monday, 26 May 2025, at the academy in Tamale.

 

 

 

The eight-week programme, brings together forty WOs and SNCOs from various bases and commands across the   Air Force and a few from the Ghana Army to equip them with foundational leadership skills and professional knowledge essential for modern military operations.

 

 

In his remarks, the Commander of the Air Force Training Command, Air Commodore Richard Danso, underscored the importance of leadership development in enhancing the air power of the Ghana Armed Forces. He emphasised that the training would focus not only on written and communication skills but also on relevant discussions, presentations and exercises, along with rigorous physical training. This holistic approach aims to develop well-rounded leaders capable of meeting the challenges of today’s security environment.

 

 

 

Air Commodore Danso also reminded participants of the high standards of discipline and academic performance expected throughout the course.
