The Class of 2025 from the United States (US) Air War College at Maxwell Field, Alabama has paid a visit to the Ghana Air Force and engaged with officers at the Officers’ Mess on Monday 24 February 2025 in Accra. The visit signifies an important step in promoting military diplomacy and exploring avenues for cooperation in areas such as training, strategic development, and humanitarian efforts.

During the event, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to interact with the students of the Air War College. In his address, he emphasised that the visit would deepen the existing relations between the Air War College and the Ghana Air Force  and further enable  more  opportunities and vacancies for officers to train and acquire leadership and strategic development skills from the College.

He also entreated everyone in attendance to build good inter-personal skills and relationships and make maximum use of any training opportunities that may come in order to improve the Air Force.

The CAS thanked the faculty for making the trip possible and assured them that Ghana would always welcome them.

As a token of this burgeoning partnership, Air Marshal Bekoe presented a commemorative plaque to Colonel Theresa Weems, the leader of the visiting delegation.
