CLOSING CEREMONY HELD FOR KNUST AIRCRAFT PRACTICAL SANDWICH COURSE

The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHAFAC), in partnership with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has held a closing ceremony for the 2025 Aircraft Practical Training Programme for Aerospace Engineering students on Friday 21 November 2025.

 

 

The ten-week practical internship was designed to expose trainees to real-world aviation operations, enhance their technical competence, and build confidence as they prepare for future roles in the aerospace industry.

 

 

Delivering the keynote address, the Guest of Honour, Director Research and Development, Group Captain Patrick Necku, congratulated the students on completing the programme. He encouraged them to view the experience as a foundational step into a broader world of aeronautical knowledge and professional growth. He commended their discipline and commitment throughout the training period.

 

 

Group Captain Necku highlighted the programme as a testament to the strong and enduring partnership between the Ghana Air Force and KNUST, expressing appreciation to the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) and the leadership of the College of Engineering for sustaining the initiative. He further applauded the instructors and staff of GHAFAC for their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering support in shaping the next generation of aerospace engineers.
