The Egyptian Defence Attaché, Brigadier General Ahmed Fouad Ibrahim, has paid a visit to the Air Force Headquarters on Friday 22 September 2023. He was received by the Chief Staff Officer, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi who welcomed him on behalf of the Chief of the Air Staff to the Headquarters.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss matters of mutual interest and further strengthen the bilateral relationship between both countries. The two senior Officers discussed a wide range of issues including joint exercises, training programmes and other areas of defence cooperation.
