GHANA AIR FORCE FEMALE VOLLEYBALL TEAM WIN LAURELS AT SUPER VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Ghana Air Force female volleyball team delivered an outstanding performance to secure second place after a fiercely contested final against the Nigerian Customs women’s team in the 4th edition of the Super Volleyball Championship.

The 2025 tournament, which showcased 16 elite clubs from the Greater Accra Volleyball Association along with top-flight teams from Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Benin, climaxed in a thrilling finale on Sunday 23 November 2025, at the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra.

The Ghana Air Force men’s team also put up a commendable effort, finishing 4th after a challenging match against the Ghana Prisons volleyball team.

For their impressive achievement, the Ghana Air Force Women’s Volleyball Team was awarded silver medals and a cash prize of Five Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢5,000.00).

The event was graced by the Director-General of the National Sports Authority, Mr Ampofo Ankrah, who served as the Guest of Honour. Also in attendance were several distinguished personalities, including the Deputy Director Training at Air Force Headquarters, Wing Commander Benjamin Otchere, and the Commanding Officer Communications Wing at Air Force Base Accra, Wing Commander Frank Darko.
