GHANA ARMED FORCES HONOURS OUTGOING FSM WITH BRAND NEW PICK-UP AT PULLING OUT CEREMONY
The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has honoured its outgoing Forces Sergeant Major (FSM), Chief Warrant Officer Addo Daniel with a brand new pick-up vehicle during a pulling out ceremony held on Monday, 30 March 2026 at the forecourt of the Department of Public Relations.

The colourful military tradition, marked by precision drills and the participation of senior officers, soldiers and defence civilian staff, was organised to formally bid farewell to the outgoing FSM for his dedicated and selfless service to the Armed Forces.

In his farewell address, the outgoing FSM expressed gratitude to the Chief of the Defence Staff, Service Chiefs, Sergeant majors and personnel of the GAF for their cooperation and support throughout his tenure. He urged soldiers to remain disciplined, professional and loyal to the command structure while continuing to uphold the core values of the Armed Forces.

He noted that the successes chalked during his tenure were achieved through teamwork, commitment and the unwavering dedication of both officers and men. The outgoing FSM further congratulated the incoming FSM and prayed for divine guidance through his tenure.

As part of the ceremony, transfer of authority and documents were officially signed by both parties to signify the smooth transition of responsibilities to the incoming FSM. The highlight of the event was the presentation of a brand new pick-up vehicle and other souvenirs to the outgoing FSM in recognition of his meritorious service, dedication and immense contribution to the Ghana Armed Forces.


The ceremony was graced by the Deputy Minister for Defence ,Honourable Ernest Brogya Genfi,the Chief of the Defence Staff,Lieutenant General William Agyapong,Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong and other Service Chiefs,Chief of Staff,Formation Commanders,Senior Officers,Officers,Sergeant Majors,Soldiers,Defence Civilian Staff and invited guests.
