GHQ RESETTLEMENT SENSITISES AIR FORCE BASE TAMALE PERSONNEL ON PROVIDENT FUND

As part of a Garrison tour to sensitise personnel on the provident fund, a team led by Colonel JK Buame has paid a visit to the Air Force Base Tamale on Thursday 28 September 2023. The purpose of the visit was to conscientize troops on the performance of the provident fund and planning towards retirement.

During the event, Colonel Buame stressed the significance of having a solid retirement plan in place and encouraging individuals to consider a place of shelter with a simple architecture to expedite its timely completion. The Colonel highlighted that a well-thought-out and achievable retirement plan provides peace of mind, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free future.

Colonel Buame also addressed common misunderstandings and misconstrued perceptions associated with the fund and shed light on its benefits. He urged attendees to carefully assess their contributions to the provident fund and encouraged them to consider increasing their quotas in preparation for retirement.

He further discouraged frequent withdrawals from the provident fund, as such actions can impede the growth and stability of one's retirement savings. Col Buame emphasized the importance of maintaining a consistent and long-term approach towards building financial security.
