
ICAG CONFERENCE 2025 ENDS AT AIR FORCE BASE TAKORADI
The Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) has concluded its 2025 conference at the Ashley Lassen Hangar, Air Force Base Takoradi.
The two-day event, held from June 17–18 under the theme “Leveraging the Transformative Power of AI – The Role of Accountants,” brought together over 2,000 participants from both the public and private sectors.
In his keynote address, the Base Commander, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi, who was the Guest of Honour, emphasized the role of accountants as guardians of ethical governance and strategic partners in nation building.
He also commended ICAG for supporting repairs at the hangar, boosting aircraft maintenance and operational efficiency.
ICAG President Mr. Augustine Addo expressed gratitude to participants and urged them to apply the lessons and connections gained from the conference in their careers. The event was attended by former ICAG President Hon. Kan Dapaah, the Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission Hon. James Klutse Avedzie, Senior Air Force officers, and representatives of corporate institutions.
