A 5- member team led by Colonel Budu-Kumi from the Inspector General’s Department (IGD), General Headquarters has held its 3^rd quarter Operational Readiness Inspection (ORI) for the Air Force Base (AFB) Accra on Thursday 9 November 2023.

The purpose of the inspection was to check the operational readiness of the Base and to gain firsthand information on the logistics and administrative challenges of the Base.

The team was met by the Officer Commanding Personnel Services Squadron, Squadron Leader Ebenezer Biney, who welcomed them on behalf of the Base Commander. They were then briefed on the operations, logistics and administration of the Base.

Squadron Leader Biney then led the team to visit some selected areas such as the armoury, ammo damp, orderly rooms, hangers and other selected areas.

Later, a durbar was held with some selected personnel who were briefed on the duties, role and organisation of the Inspector General’s Department.

The inspection was concluded successfully with a de-brief by the Base Commander, Air Commodore Eric Agyen-Frimpong.
