SECURITY SERVICES EMBARK ON JOINT SHOW OF FORCE TO ASSURE PUBLIC SAFETY
The Ghana Armed Forces together with sister security agencies conducted a joint Show of Force Exercise on Thursday 11 December 2025, as part of enhanced national security preparations for the festive season.

The exercise, which began with the assembly of troops and assets at the Black Star Square, saw security personnel parade through major streets in Accra. The coordinated display of vehicles, equipment and troop formations formed part of ongoing inter-agency efforts aimed at boosting operational readiness, deterring criminal elements and assuring the public of the security services' preparedness to maintain peace and security.

The activity also reinforced cooperation among the various security institutions and highlighted their collective resolve to adopt a robust posture in safeguarding citizens and maintaining a secure environment throughout the holiday period and beyond.

Deputy Minister for Defence, Honourable Ernest Brogya Genfi commended the participating agencies for their seamless collaboration and described the effort as a clear demonstration of unity and commitment to national security. He reaffirmed government’s dedication to providing the logistics and modern equipment required for the security services to effectively carry out their duties.

Joining the troops for the exercise were the Chief of the Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, the Inspector General of Police and heads of other security agencies.
