SUPPLY WING CROWNED CHAMPION IN INTER-WING GAMES AT AIR FORCE BASE ACCRA
The Supply Wing of Air Force Base Accra emerged champions of the 2025 Inter-Wing Games held at the Base from 22 to 23 October 2025.

The two-day sporting event brought together personnel and defence civilian staff from the Flying Group, Engineering Wing, Supply Wing, and Administration Wing to compete in various disciplines, including athletics, football, volleyball, table tennis, tug-of-war, and other fun activities.


At the end of the keenly contested games, the Supply Wing placed first, followed by the Flying Group in second place, the Engineering Wing in third place, and the Administration Wing in fourth place.

The event, aimed at fostering unity, physical fitness, and esprit de corps among personnel, was climaxed with an impressive closing ceremony on Thursday.

The Base Commander, Air Commodore Elvis King Arneson, who was the Guest of Honour, commended all participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. He emphasised the importance of such events in promoting teamwork and physical fitness, which are key attributes in maintaining operational readiness.

He also congratulated the Supply Wing for their outstanding performance and encouraged the other Wings to work harder in future competitions.

Trophies and medals were presented to deserving individuals and teams who excelled in their respective events.
