ZAMBIA DEFENCE COLLEGE DELEGATION VISITS AIR FORCE HEADQUARTERS

A 14-member delegation from the Defence Services Command and Staff College of Zambia, led by Colonel Tyndall Hamane, visited the Air Force Headquarters (AFHQ) on Tuesday, 30 September 2025.

 

 

As part of their visit, the delegation called on the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, where discussions underscored the enduring relationship between Zambia and Ghana.

 

 

The visitors were also briefed by the Deputy Director of Air Operations, Wing Commander Davis Aboagye, who delivered a presentation on “The Role of the Ghana Air Force in National Defence and Regional Security Cooperation.”

 

 

In her remarks, Colonel Hamane expressed appreciation for the insightful presentation, noting its strong alignment with the theme of their study tour in Ghana:

 

 

“Understanding Regional Security Cooperation Through Responsive Policies that Recognise the Military as a Catalyst for Self-Reliance as well as Political and Social Development.”
