The Air Force Headquarters (AFHQ) has honoured its 2024/25 National Service Personnel with a farewell luncheon at the Air Force Officers’ Mess on Friday, 29 August 2025.

The event was organised to mark the successful completion of their one-year mandatory service to the nation and to acknowledge their contributions to the work of the Air Force.

In his remarks, the Chief Staff Officer at the Air Force Headquarters, Air Commodore Mathias Awuah, commended the personnel for their dedication, discipline and hard work throughout their service period. He encouraged them to remain focused on their future aspirations and assured them of command's support whenever needed.

The service personnel also shared their experiences and expressed gratitude to the officers, airmen and civilian staff of the Air Force Headquarters for the guidance and mentorship they received.

As a gesture of recognition, goodwill and appreciation, each personnel was presented with a certificate and a souvenir from the Ghana Air Force.
