The Ghana Air Force participated in Ghana’s 68th Independence Day celebration which was marked with a parade at the Jubilee House on Thursday, 6 March 2025.

The celebration was under the theme “Reflect, Review and Reset”. Unlike previous years, this year’s celebration took a scaled-down format following the directive of the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
The event was characterized by the traditional inspection of the parade by the President, the lighting of the perpetual flame, poetry recitals and a captivating display of traditional dance, all of which received loud applause from dignitaries and attendees.
The ceremony was graced by several high-profile personalities, including former presidents , members of the military high command, heads of other security services, traditional leaders and members of the diplomatic corps.
As Ghana marks 68 years of independence, this year’s theme calls for a moment of reflection, evaluation and a renewed commitment to national progress.
