GHANA AND UNITED STATES AIR FORCES PARTNER IN RESCUE AND FIREFIGHTING EXCHANGE
The Ghana Air Force Rescue and Firefighting Service has concluded a four-day exchange program with the United States Air Force, held from 15 to 18 September 2025.
The program brought together personnel from both nations to share best practices, strengthen emergency response capabilities, and explore firefighting approaches.
The exchange focused on unified command and control in crisis situations. Activities included technical training, a tour of the Base section, a visit to the airport fire department, and practical drills at the training field.
The collaboration enhanced professional skills and reinforced the partnership between the Ghana Air Force and the U.S. Air Force. It also reflects the commitment of both forces to safeguarding lives and property through improved rescue and firefighting readiness.
