GHFAC, DTI EXPLORE COLLABORATION FOR SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC) and the Design and Technology Institute (DTI) are exploring areas of mutual collaboration to enhance technical and vocational education in Ghana.
A team from DTI, led by its founder and president, Madam Constance Swaniker, visited GHFAC on Wednesday 12 March 2025. The visit follows an earlier engagement when the Commanding Officer and personnel from GHFAC toured DTI’s facilities earlier this year.
During the visit, Madam Swaniker highlighted the shared values between both institutions, particularly their emphasis on discipline in training. She described the engagement as insightful, noting that it provided valuable lessons on aligning their missions for national development.
The DTI team was taken on a tour of the aviation college’s facilities, where they interacted with students and received firsthand insights into the training environment.
DTI, a private TVET institution in Ghana, aims to become West Africa’s leading industrial job training and prototype centre, equipping youth with practical skills for sustainable livelihoods.
