The newly appointed minister for Defence Honourable Dr. Edward Omane Boamah has paid a maiden visit to the Air Force Headquarters as part of his familiarisation tour of the Ghana Armed Forces on Monday 10 February 2025, Burma Camp.

During his maiden visit, the minister engaged with the Chief of the Defence Staff, Service Chiefs and Senior Military Officers gaining insights into the operations and strategic priorities of the Ghana Armed Forces.

His visit is seen as a vital step in understanding the challenges faced by the Ghana Armed Forces and ensuring effective implementation of Defence policies.

The leadership of the Ghana Air Force welcomed the Minister and expressed optimism about the collaboration and support from the new minister.
